Special evening of local music videos

Film Northants are hosting Sounds of Northampton here on 29 April. This evening of music videos made by local musicians and film-makers is the first out-of-competition screening by the county film festival Film Northants.

The evening will feature an eclectic mix of music including solo artists, bands and choirs from a variety of genres including metal, pop, rap, choral and indie. All of the films have a connection to Northamptonshire and were either made in the county or are made by Northants film-makers.

Film Northants chair Lily Canter said: “We are really excited about our first 2014 festival screening. This particular event was set up in response to the local film-making community who told us there was a wealth of music videos being made locally. We are really pleased that we are able to showcase such a diverse range of music and film direction.”

Tickets are just £5, and the screening starts at 8.45pm, and you’ll have the chance to talk to some of the featured film-makers and musicians at a Q&A session.
