With more mature film-goers in mind, the Errol Flynn Filmhouse is scheduling Silver Screen weekday afternoon screenings for selected films.

With tickets priced at just £5 for customers aged 50 and over, Silver Screen showings in the first month are Behind The Candelabra, the tale of Liberace and his lover (Tuesday 2 July 2.30pm), the documentary about the great British composer, Benjamin Britten: Peace and Conflict (Monday 8 July 2.30pm) and Stand Up Guys, a new crime comedy starring Al Pacino (Tuesday 23 July 2.30pm).

With a great selection of teas, coffees and cake available from the cinema bar (or something stronger if you prefer), what better way to spend a pleasant weekday afternoon.
