Open Space Northamptonshire – How Do We Ensure That Culture And Creativity Thrive In Northamptonshire?

Our friends at the Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership invite you to a free event about Culture and Creativity on Friday 3rd & Saturday 4th June, taking place at the National Training Academy for Rail.

“How can we all work together to celebrate and enhance the brilliant culture and creativity in our county? With over 800 cultural and creative businesses employing more than 3,000 people we are a priority sector for growth and prosperity. How do we create the conditions for success in more financially difficult times?

Whether you are an artist, practitioner, designer, work in an arts or cultural organisation, are a web, games or content developer, funder or donor, an academic, activist, teacher or a member of the public who is passionate about the arts, join us for the inaugural Northamptonshire Open Space event devoted to shaping the future of culture and creative industries locally.

Let’s discuss and create the future that we want for our sector. We know that there is a clear opportunity right now to unlock support from Arts Council England, Heritage related funders, the burgeoning commercial sector and even Europe. So how can we do more to make the case for culture and creative industries together?

Whatever your questions, issues, ideas, dreams, curiosity, frustration or scepticism, the Open Space format, facilitated by the brilliant Improbable, creators of the Devoted and Disgruntled programme, is the perfect context for us to consider the future of culture and creative industries in Northamptonshire.

If you’re new to Open Space or D&D’s programme, see how it all works here: www.devotedanddisgruntled.com

We invite everyone to attend. All views are welcome, every voice gets heard and nothing is off the agenda, since you set it on the day.

See you there,
