Local food and drink on menu
Celebrating the best in local produce, the Errol Flynn Filmhouse is working with a number of local suppliers as it puts together its carefully chosen range of drinks and snacks, which will be available from the cinema’s bar, from around 30 minutes before the film starts.
Produced on the Falls Farm in Northamptonshire by Warner Edwards, the recently launched and widely acclaimed Harrington Dry Gin will be stocked in the bar, while New Lodge Vineyards, based in Earls Barton, are supplying Earls Baron English sparkling wine. A delicious range of ice-cream comes from Northampton family firm Gallones.
Other products coming from further afield include Illy coffee, as well as some lovely loose leaf teas. There will be a range of continental and British bottled beers, along with an excellent selection of wines sourced by Crown Cellars, with soft drinks coming for Hamburg-based Fritz-Kola.
For many the film-going experience would not be complete without popcorn, and the Errol Flynn Filmhouse is delighted to be working with Notting Hill-based Pop, who produce some of the best popcorn available. As well as the regular salted and sugared varieties, there will also be seasonal flavours of the month, which could include such delights as Salted Caramel, Strawberries and Cream, Goats Cheese and Chives and Bloody Mary, all made by hand with natural ingredients. Other tasty snacks available will include wasabi peas, chilli-coated peanuts and a selection of cakes.
